I started the blue/green calico today, and I have a problem. The royal blue fur is a bit deeper pile than the mint green--which I knew--but the colors are great together. I just ordered a half yard of royal blue fur for the calico cat. Same weight as the navy and a very pretty color (although still darker than I really wanted for this project).

*sigh* I keep saying I'm not going to buy any more fur...

I've been planning to make a blue/green calico cat (long story). It's up next after the pushmi-pullyu, so I've been contemplating my fur collection. I have a lovely, soft, minty green and a white that will go well with it. But the blue is a problem. I wanted a fairly light blue, sky or a little darker.
